Miss Nutmeg Pageant - Southington, Connecticut - March 29, 2009

The next day, I headed out for the Miss Nutmeg pageant. It is the sweeper pageant for the First Runner-Ups.

It was a complete THRILL to receive this title, and to be crowned by the amazing Miss Connecticut, Ashley Glenn.

I can honestly say that it is these young women who I have met through this system that have highlighted my experience in the Miss Connecticut America organization. I have made friends that I know will last a lifetime, and it was wonderful to get to know some amazing people who share similar interests and goals. So many people have watched me compete all year and are happy to congratulate me!

Miss Greater Waterbury/Miss Brass City Pageant - Wolcott, Connecticut - March 28, 2009

Competing in the Miss Waterbury Pageant was an incredicle experience. Here I am with the other contestants right before opening number.

By the end of the evening, I had the unbelievable honor of winning both the Overall Talent Award for my Broadway vocal, along with the Overall Interview Award. I placed as First Runner-Up to Miss Brass City and decided to take part in the Miss Nutmeg Pageant the very next day.
